Default '78 KZ750 - What goes here?

I don't have a manual but I need to know what's missing on the right side of the this bike. It looks like a starter solenoid but I want to be sure before I spend money.

I am by no means a KZ750 expert, and it's kind of hard to see by your photo, but if that area in the red circle refers to a small round bracket (probably made of rubber and about 1" or so in diameter) it's probably the holder for the turn signal flasher. That's the approximate location of mine on my '79 KZ400 LTD. Hope this info helps. Good luck.

Ding Ding Ding - thats for the thermal turn signal flasher. An electronic one also fits by the way.

Thanks, Cafe.
Where can I pick one up at? Will a "car" flasher work?

yes, just get the cheapo thermal flasher from autozone, two prong style, install it with the male leads facing up, the round cap should just push into the rubber ring and stay there.

yes, A car flasher will work. It should be a two pin one not the three or four pin flashers. Sorry, don't remember the part number.

I would recommend the electronic flasher unit. 2 Pronger runs about 7 bucks.
