Details ?lets see,I bought it in 1982 as a bit of a rat bike with dodgy electrics and worn out motor, over the years its had a coulpe of resprays ,top end rebuild with 1000 kit etc and its looked like this for about the last 12 months, recently I've put an APE clutch in and soon I'll fit a Dyna ignition and hydraulic clutch and a 530 chain conversion to get rid of the power sapping 630.

I love to see all these Rickman versions. Until now, I always thought that there were only a limited number of designs, but it appears the sky is the limit.
I have just repurchased the Z1 Rickman that I built in the spring of 1976. It is a bit shop worn and in need of restoration. The good news is the motor is solid and sorted out. It has a 1085 Weisco kit in it with stock cams etc. In addition, I have been able to trace the ownership back to the guy I sold it to these many years ago. A few of the parts have gone astray, but I've seen a few, like side covers that I didn't know existed. I did manage to get both the single seat/fibre glass gas tank racing kit and the steel/dual seat street kit. Winter this year does not look to be as dreary as it has been in the past few years!! Photos and such to follow An early "Merry Christmas" to me |

I wish I still had a set of stock pipes, but when I put the Cal Fab Swingarm on I had to trim the brackets for the pipes.

Nice bike you have their pyropat. As for me with these old KZ'z and the old 750 K model Hondas, I only run them and only like to see them with the 4in1 headers. I never cared much for any other exhaust systems at all. I know they are probably worth more restored with the correct pipes though.
