![]() This is as good a picture as I have, until I get home. Then I can retake my own. So...here's my question I recognize the 3 prong connector for the headlights. But...there are 2 single wires, one white and one yellow. I'm not sure what those are for, and they don't seem to have a place to go on my 83 KZ650. ANyone have any thoughts as to what those are? The old single headlight has nothing more than the 3 prong connector, so I'm not sure what to do with those other wires, but tape them off and hope for the best. Thanks |

Bah, nevermind. I call the place I bought the lights from. They state that those wires are only used in Europe. Sine Europe doesn't require headlight to be on, those wire control to tiny lights in the front that do need to be on all the time.
They said, "Cut them as short as you can and tape them off." |

LOL. Yeah, that's about what I was thinking...That's the redneck southern in me talking. But, I thought a call to the dealer might save a bit of pain. LOL
I am going to hook up the light and make sure it works before cutting those wires, just in case. |

hehe.
Honestly, I can't wait to get the new exhaust on, and the new headlight in. Then, it's just new front tire, another rotor, and she'll be ready for this riding season, I think. I'm dualizing her front brakes. Then, I'll order my new turn signals and taillight. Then, I'll worry about finishing the sculpture for the new fairing, and create it. Then...it's all about the new seatpan and rear end, which will add a covered cargo box, elimnate the two up seat and the rear fender. Gonna look radically different once she's all done. |

Good luck on everything. I've been making myself crazy by looking up parts and haven't even seen the bike. But will be ready when I get her! Maybe will see it this weekend, maybe I can talk the guy into a visitation!
