Fresh meat for the road

Just what it says......I went to the junk yard to day and got a new headlight but its not for the right bike, they didnt have one, and i really needed one! So i was wondering for when i do fix it correctly instead of having it patched for now if there were any options i could look into for getting better lighting from the headlights? any help is awesome!

I just bought a Sylvania Silverstar (H6024ST) headlight from Autozone for my bike, $26.24 including tax. "The look of HID. Whitest. Brightest. 100% Street Legal". Wish me luck, I'll keep everyone posted.

i ended up buying a whole new bucket from an 1985 Kawi GP 454 (i think) anyways it has an h4 bulb in it and is much brighter than the cracked sealed beam i had. But now i need a trim ring for the damn thing because the rings arent interchangeable! oh well
