anyone out there installed green (3 ohm) dyna's on their 80 KZ1000 B4? Just picked them up today...so do i simply cut the pink & black/dark green primary wires from the existing coils and install on the new dyna greens? i think redline cicles mentioned the balast resistor (pink connection) needs to be taken out of the circuit...does that mean i simpy do not connect the pink primary wires to the coils?
thanks in advace for your help. ace |

If you plan on running the 3.0 ohm green Dyna coils, then you will need to remove the ballast resistors from the wiring. It's fairly simple to do. We have before/after wiring diagrams we provide with the coils if the customer has a 79 or 80 KZ1000.
