Default 1984 Kawasaki Model

About 1985 I purchased a 1984 (or so) enduro-type 200cc Kawasaki bike. It was 2-stroke, air cooled and very light and nimble. I can't remember the model/name. Anyone have any suggestions? I have done searches, but haven't found anything. TKS, Wade

How sure are you about the year and size. It doesn't appear that kawi made a 200 cc dual purpose bike that year. At least not for the U.S.

Kdx200. Small headlight, green plastic. Made from 1983, into the 90's.

The KDX is in off road class though.

Enduro doesn't imply street legal. I suspect you're thinking street/trail.

Yes I've always thought that enduro implied it was street legal because every time I've seen the word used by a manufacturer it was a street legal bike. Just like the examples posted by Kawah1c. I've only owned one enduro in my life so I don't have a great deal of experience with them.

The B model isn't listed on kawasaki.com. Was it available in the U.S.?

I checked, and no, the B model was not exported to North America.

Thanks everyone! KDX now rings a bell. My son came over yesterday and he said he thought it was a KDX too. It wasn't street-legal, but it was one heck of an enduro. I only weigh 145 with no clothes, and I could keep up with most bikes in the tight stuff. They could easily out run me on long, open trails, but not in the twisty stuff. Wade

So what's it like to go trail riding with no clothes ? I bet if you didn't have to cover up your manhood with your left hand while on the long open trails, you'd easily keep up there as well.

Just kidding, Ridge. Glad I could be of assistance. Now, go find yourself another KDX and join in on the fun again. Cheers.
