Default J-model identification

Does anyone know how to identify "J"-model bikes? I have an '83 KZ1100 I will be parting out and on eBay I notice that engine parts on older KZ's (like cylinder heads) command higher prices because they are "J" model parts and I guess are higher performance items.....

Frame number starts with KZT00J
Engine number starts with KZT00JE

This is the 1000cc J, the only large capacity J model. There's also a J model of the 250 and the 400.

If I remember correctly, the 81-83 KZ1000J's, KZ1000ELR, 82 and up KZ1000P, KZ1100, KZ1300, and 81-82 GPz1100 all used the same J head.

Might want to double check though, Im pretty sure but not 100%

I'm pretty sure the 1300 didn't, as it is water cooled. Looks like the B's and the R's are the same + that there's another type that's R only (high comp ?). The J's have a different part number. They're probably interchangeable though.
