ok, I'm rebuilding my bike from the ground up for the most part... I do plan on replacing my coils eventually but for now I'm stuck with the ones I have. question are the coils on a '82 kz1000p univeral? does it matter which one is on which side? they both have the same model number on theme but one has a raised portion in the coil housing from where you connect the plug wire into the coil... one coil the raised portion on the Pos side of the coil goes further in than the same position on the other coil. also here is a really dumb question... when counting pistons.. as in piston 1, 2, 3, 4... number one is on the left when your sitting on the bike correct. Thats my asumption and I figured it to be common sense but I just wanted to verify. thanks.
