Default KZ1000 front wheel tightening procedures

I bought a 1981 KZ1000J that I have been working on trying to make it safe as possible. It is still not easy to hang on to when you open it up, in other words it runs great. I put a new chain and sprockets on it. I got some new tires and took the wheels off, took them and the new tires to the bike shop and had them mounted and balance. I have been going around the bike making sure everything is tight. When I got to the front wheel reassemble I was concerned about how to secure the axle and fork mounts. I downloaded a service manual and it advises to tighten the fork mounts front nut first then the rear but does not say if you should tighten the axle first or after securing the fork mounts. Please let me know if there is a procedure for this. Thanks

On my old 750:

FRONT WHEEL: there are caps (called axle clamps) that go on with an arrow that points to the front.

Before tighteninf the clamp nuts, you must tighten the axle nuts (on the ends of the axle) with 50-60 ft-lbs of torque.

Tighten the FRONT axle clamp nuts to 11 - 15 foot-pounds. The clamp will go tight against the fork at the front.

Tighten the REAR clamp nut to 11-15 ft-lbs. There will be a gap under the clamp.

REAR WHEEL: you must tighten the calipetr holder nut which holds the brake caliper assembly to the swing arm BEFORE tightening the axle nut.

The axle nut is tightened LAST to about 70 - 100 foot-lbs.
