Finally Got Into First Gear

Long time coming...PICS
I first got my 82 550 LTD for free from my uncle. It was a barn find that was really should have been in the salvage yard. Anyways, I've had it for 5 yrs and throughout that time I have been slowly but surely making improvements to it. I still have alot I would LIKE to do, but we'll see how financially responsible that will be... Also, I'd like to thank everyone that replies to my postings, whether they were good questions for really dumb ones...

Yeah, I do too. I need something to tinker with otherwise I'm going to get bored soon. I would like to get something that is pretty dinged up though because bike prices are really climbing with gas prices.

Yea thats about the same as me. Work is slow in the winter (has been this summer too) and while there are some things I plan to do to mine this winter I'd like to find a good deal on a non runner that I get cheap and fix with mostly time and effort vs. tons of parts. Makes a great winter project.
