I have an 82 kz 1000 j model. It has a non working electric speedo on it. I want to change it out to a cable driven speedo. Can I use the cable drive from the front wheel of any kz 1000? Or is there a kit for changing the over to cable driven?
Thanks for any help. |

from the front wheel sensor to the speedo around the fork boot. That is where the wires get flexed the most and they might break. I have had the wires break on two of my 82 models. I have given thought to installing a mechanical speedo but I need to see the wheels side by side to see if they can be used.....chris3
