Default If not one thing...

it's another. I finally got all three bikes up and on the road, '82 KZ1100s. When I got close to getting the third bike up, something breaks on one of the other two and I have to steal a part to fix it until ebay comes across with a replacement part. Anyway, when riding home from work last Friday, I thought the front brake felt a little soft. This bike has been down for about 5 months due to a valve and ring job and from me stealing parts. I look down and lo and behold, the master cylinder is leaking. Bummer. I can't complain because when I got the bike 14 years ago the master cylinder was frozen with corrosion which I just cleaned out and when I bled the system it held pressure and had continued to do so all these years. The order is in for a rebuild kit. If I had a new bike, what would I do on Saturday mornings waiting for the wife to get out of bed? I am an early riser and she works nights.........chris3

How do you keep straight on which bike needs what? Do you have a master list of parts taken from bike 1,2,&3? Do you have three battery chargers to keep the batteries up during the winter? Expiring minds want to know.

Default Uh, I live in Texas...

and ride all year long. Two of the bikes are identical and the other is just a variant of the first two, one KZ1100A2, and two KZ1100D1s, all 1982 year. I have been working on these KZ bikes since 1973. I can take them apart and put them back together blindfolded.......too old to change the kind of bike I ride.....chris3
