help with engine age

Hi all
Ive just bought what i think is a 1986 kx 125 but would like to make sure the engine coresponds with this cos it needs a piston. can anybody help me out .i found a number on the underneath of the engine which is kh1 kx125 de 01 54 34.thanks

Sounds about right.
The water cooled KX125-D was a new model for 1985. Engine series started KX125DE000001

Does any one know anything about a 1986 125? i don't. if you could please tell me about the performance of this bike. is it any good? any power band? can you wheelie if you pull back on the throttle? please help thanks
