Engine number is...KZT00JE034321. Would really appreciate some help.....thanks bruce

Under the top cover is a rubber diaphram/with a needle in the center and a plastic circular wheel covering the needle with a long spring holding the circular wheel and needle in place. The cap fits over the spring holding it down. Hope that helps.....found out the motor is an 82 J model

yes you have a j-model motor.the easiest way to tell is the j-moel motors did not have a kick starter.

Yeah, and a twisted crank. Oh wait, that was the 81s.

Both the ones in the carbs and the ones I bought from Z1 are pressed in with an "o" ring around the lwr portion of the valve. Btw the p/n is 16030-1016 for the float valves. The last 4 digets of the carbs is 1358 which according to the Kawasaki microfish for the carbs is the correct p/n for my bike.....I don't know what's going on......Ssooo I sent the carbs to "Wiredgeorge" in Texas to have them FIX them.....sent him one of the new float valve assy also ......so hopefully he'll tell me WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON with these float assys. thanks for the help.....I do really appreciate all of it......bruce
