newbie here need help with 84 zn700

Hello ya'll I have a problem with my 84 zn 700. when i get it started it only runs for a short time then dies out. Any suggestions? or ideas. any help with this bike would be great thank ya.

First off welcome to the Forum , and second when your bike dies off does it sound like its starving for fuel or does it just turn off as if it looses spark ? have you owned the bike long ? have you had the carb's off and cleaned recently ? have you checked to see if all cylinders are firing ? does your bike have a gravity fuel petcock or a vacuum petcock ?

..... sorry that was a pretty big second lol there's something to start you off for now

but we all need to know more symptoms your having including the history of ( if any ) what led up to said problem.
