front signal wiring routing on 81 GPz1100

on my recently purchased 1981 GPz, the PO removed all of the wiring for the front indicators....it was aimed towards the drag track. i see no evidence of cut/trimmed wires, missing connectors, etc.
can anyone tell me where the wires for the turn signals originates? is it part of the headlight wiring harness? If you can have a look at your bike and let me know, much thnx!

Remove the headlight and look inside the housing. The connections should be there for the turn signals. I have an 82 GPZ1100 B2 so I'm using my factory motorcycle service manual wiring diagram here.

The left front turn signal wiring goes like this:
1. The gray wire plugs into the green wire bullet connector.
2. The blue wire plugs into the blue wire bullet connector
3. The black wire with yellow stripe plugs into the same color bullet connector.

The right front turn signal wiring goes like this:
1. The gray wire plugs into the gray wire bullet connector
2. The blue wire plugs into the blue wire bulet connector
3. The black wire with yellow strips plugs into the same color bullet connector.

This bike has running lights in the front turn signals for added visibility so make sure the replacement signals have the correct soclets in them.

I believe the bulbs are 1157(same as the rear brake lights) in the front with 1156 in the rear signals.

thnx! the rears were unplugged from the barrel connectors, so I hope the fronts were also disconnected, and not hacked up. I will pull the headlight and take a look.
