hi there .. recently purchased a zzr1100c2(91) it was a fixer upper and wasn't dangerous money ... it has stacks of problems (fork seals leaking , no brakes / stopping power , engine not idling over, battery wrecked etc...) .i have been off work so i got almost everything sorted except the battery draining problem .. i presume the altenator / reg/rectifier is bollo*ed but not sure .. the battery is brand new and the bike runs ok untill the battery runs flat .. the drain in power only seams to happen whenever the ign's are on .. which leads me to believe that the battery is ok ... i have done a voltage test on the battery with the ignition off/ on ..when the engine is running the voltage drops ? i take it that no charge is getting to the battery... any ideas .. do u / anyone know where i can pick up a replacement altenator ? plz help ..regards ..cyberjack
