Smile V2K with new seat

After waiting patiently for a month for the weather to smarten up I was finally able to scoot down to my buddy Dave's (spok) house to pick pu my new Mustang Solo seat, backrest, and rear fender bib.

I had previously purchased a rear fender rack, and I "incorporated" it into the rear fender bib as well.

The Mustang seat is top notch. The quality is fantastic, and the comfort and posture support is amazing. After a 5 odd hour ride home, I pulled into my garage and only then realized I had been sitting on my new seat. It was so comfortable I pretty much forgot about it being there. The driver's backrest is also great, though it pushes me a bit forward. The seat has so much support that I find the drivers backrest is almost not necassary.

Here's a few pictures I took this morning down at the beach, before I came into work.

That's the only kind of seat you want! Looks awesome Carlo, I love fender racks.

Am I to surmise that said washers were Spok supplied?

Not really. We spent an hour riding around Mt.Vernon looking for some chrome washers and bolts. We finally found them at Ace Hardware (Ace is indeed The Place) I obviously didn't have the foresight to purchase enough chrome washers to get the job done. (My mind was elsewhere at that point. I had just found out we were to have an authentic Mexican feast at Dave's later that evening)

It's too pretty.

You need to keep that one for display purposes and get another one for the real mileage. Go ahead, you can tell your wife I said it was necessary and part of the responsibility of being a V2K Limited owner.

So let it written, so let it be done. Don't forget to post pictures of your new ride.

Looks great. Dang but that seat looks comfy.

I also love how the bib sneaks in under the leading edge of the rack. Very nice.

Nice seat and rack setup! Very cool. What are the pegs on the crash bars used for?

Stretching. They're called highway pegs. Just let you stretch your legs on long stretches of droning highway.
