    Great Bike, CQ!

    ...sorry I missed your thread earlier...

    Boy, he - uh, she - looks to be in great shape for her age - I really like the tank shape and that classic front end (reminds me of the good ole days).

    I was talking to a new acquaintence the other night, turns out he just picked up an old KZ1000 he's restoring. Is there a trend going on these days?

    I'm not sure Mr78, I do know that the top of the tank was repainted 3 years ago, but I'm not sure about the purple being original or not. Anyone know of a website that goes that far back with color schemes? I'd love to see what they were originally.

    I was wondering the same thing really br, because I was looking on ebay, and some of these older bikes are going for prices between $1500. and $3500. Amazing! I love this bike, but if I knew I could get $3500 because someone wanted to "relive those good ole days," I'd be putting it down on a Vulcan 800 Classic or a Meanstreak!


    And thanks everyone on the compliments! I think she's a pretty bike.

    theres a dealer in my town with an 02 vulcan 750 with 3100 miles for $3900
