my old pipe extensions are 1 7/8" O.D. with a 45 degree bend. the headers are V/H Cruzers but I think they are the same spacing as stock,The muffler guy flared the pipe just enough to slide over the headers, then when I got em positioned where I wanted them, I put a screw in it to hold that position then he welded the joint

Default Kawasaki VN 1500 BUBF BOBBER

    Hi
Check out my "Bluebird" nearly finished. It's a slow progress from my last update on page 14. Thank God I've change my mind about the exhaust system. Really ads to total character of a bike.
Designed by pjwdesign.com, and fabricated by guys at powerspeed (Powerspeed - Total Exhaust and Manifold Specialist)
Some more pictures when last bits will be sorted out. This is a low budget build as well.

I know it's not so much bobber, but it definitely isn't a chop. It's to slow to be called muscle bike (although it handles like one), not pretty enough to call it custom bike (no tribal spikes on it, and no billet wheels, no fat tire, hmmm...) what then! Lowrider?

I think the V&H head pipes are a larger diameter and route a lil different. Was reading through your thread and thought you used the stock ones.

Eh, I'll figure somethin out....I agree Rat does do some creative stuff.

That is Juan Carlos' bike. He is a member here, but I don't think he is on much. Hopefully mine will look like that in the near future. I love the 23" front wheel and drum brake.

Yeah he did. I am thinking about getting an 18" rim for the rear when I do it. I just love the way a 21" front and 18" rear look.

Updated: chopper wired, single cable pop throttle, repainted, doin exhaust this week some time, made battery cover and seat pan....

Wanted: Get rid of trailer fender for ribbed style, may build a set of cooler looking z bars, dirt bike master cylinder, get seat pan covered, change tank to an old wassel, eventually change to a 5 x 16.00 rear tire and old style ribbed up front...Bike swap meets are starting up since weather is cooling off, see what i can score....

I guess you are talking to me Shane? I bought the springer from my cousin who got it from a swap meet. It fits an 800 now. I cut 13 inches out of it and welded a stock kawasaki stem in it from my stock triple trees
