You've got a gorgeous ride Spok. Are you planning on throwing some highway pegs on the engine guard?

quite the ride Spok. i actually like the look of the chrome side covers on yours quite a bit. with the saddlebags, i don't like how they would look on my Nomad. they would just be chrome out of place, but on yours its a different story, they flow well. nice job. can't wait to see it in person !

That is a common question I get now but seeing how I am vertically challenged, I can almost get my feet to reach way up there. If I were to get pegs, they'd have go reach back to the rear for me to use them. I do like the idea, but I have plenty of room to streach out on the floorboards as they are.

Dave, the black side covers made the bike look hollow, the chrome really sets it off and brings a punch of pizazz. I agree that they'd be wasted on a Nomad, they got plenty going on as it is.

The bike looks good Spok. Glad to see your enjoying doing the install of the accessories youself. I knew you could do it. I'll be ready to see it in person as well. I need to pop in this forum a little more often an look over the other members ride's. There's getting to be some nice looking bikes around here.

    i agree

about the highway pegs, i ran into the same problem. i think you are the same height as me at 5'8". i bought the Kuryakyn offset pegs which allow a lot of adjustbility. with them aimed back not even all the way, i have plenty of leg to reach. just a thought.

Thanks to all of you for your positive feedback on my ongoing labor of love. It gives me great pleasure to know of the approval of my fellow forum members and pride to fix and work on it by myself. I'm not going to be breaking the motor down anytime soon but I've come to accept that the preventative maintenance and bolt on mods are well within my range of abilities. Robin truely is my new passion.
