Like anything could compete with those debates.

Default ooops....

....my bad. I didn't even realise that there was a Photo Gallery section It makes sense that there would be though on a forum where there are so many beautiful rides......and people

And anyone with their minds in the gutter...too late, I already thought of the twist on words that couild be applied to the above

That's okay. When you finish up such a nice project as that... post it where you want! Truth is, I forget about that forum as well.

Thanks again for the compliment Impact, and to everyone else that has said nice words since my last general thank you....it feels good to know that others appreciate what I have done with the bike.

That is a beautiful classic and you should be very happy! It was (from my perspective) worth all the sweat and $$$. Great job!!

Thanks Runner...when I look at it, and especially when I ride it and open up the throttle and hear the growl from the air intake and from the pipe, the corners of my mouth tickle my ear lobes from the huge grin that I get. !!!!

It is worth every penny just for that !!

At first I thought "Oh no! Not chopping up a nice LTD?"

But seeing the results.....it's exactly right. It has all the essentials and essence of what Kaw was rolling out of the showrooms back then, but it's much better.

It is a stunningly beautiful motorcycle, and I am head over heels in love with it.

Thank you Mike...the seat came from a place called Z-Power in the U.K. They import them from a company called PMC-I'd have to check the box again to make sure of the name, but I'm pretty sure that is correct. From what I understand, they made the seats for Kawi in the first place, so while the seat is acually a sort of ELR replica for the Z1's and early KZ1000's, the pan, which is metal btw, is correct for these early bikes.

Do a Google for Z-Power and you should be able to get to their site....I don't have the link right handy.

Thanks guys.....I'm not one to chop up something that is original, and as I stated, I have all the original parts with their original paint etc etc, so it can easily be put back to original one day. I'm really happy with the way it is, so unless I find another one, this one will be this way for some time to come !! It would be nice to find another that needs some work so I can transfer all the parts on this one to the other, and then put this one back to original. I can dream I suppose.

If you ever out & about & someone walks up to you that smokes & asks for a light, just show him one of those pics of your bike & the cig will instantly light up.
Your bike is hot !
