I just bought and brand new 04 Vulcan 1500 classic (black and red). My lady just bought a brand new 05 Vulcan 500 ltd (blue). I am going to be removing the passenger seat to expose the entire rear fender. We both would like to put our names on the side covers, and then some type of artwork or scroll design on the tanks and rear fenders and are looking for ideas.
Anyone have some kewl stuff/ideas they can share? Either post to this thread or email me at jcorpern@direcway.com . |

My suggestion is you find someone who knows how to use Coreldraw, choose the typeface and any modifications you want to make to it. Next, get it cut out to make a mask and spray paint the mask and peel it off the piece. Or, take the artwork to a proshop and have them do it. Or, there are places that can make waterslide decals (transfers), put it on the piece and seal it with clearcoat.
Try to find someone that does the lettering on the back of team sweaters. They may be able to help you out with any ideas you have, too. I've also seen some interesting peel and stick stuff at Michael's (craft store) here in Canada. A little flowery but really nice stuff. I'm looking at doing all the logos and names for my project bikes but haven't started anything yet. If I have time in the next week, I'll forward you an idea or two idea that are in my head and need to go on to "paper".
