Default new boots rock!!!!!!!!

Just bought a pair of Ariat smolder h2o riding boots with built in peg rest. These things are comfortable and really stick to the floorboards! My old Scetchers would slide around and had a hard time putting them on the brake. They only seem to cover the very outside of the brake pedal.these new boots hit the brake pedal dead center.they lace up and are waterproof also.I would recommend them. There is no vibration on the highway and I really like how they stay planted on the floorboards. It's like they are Velcro! You cant just slide them on the boards you have to lift them up if you want to move them.

I'm glad that you like the boots; nothing like wearing something that it's meant for, huh?

I started reading your post and asked myself, "...WTH are floorboards!?...". Then I saw your avatar and laughed, we have different types of bikes. I don't know if this will apply to your situation (cruiser vs street bike) but try to break them in before you do a more challenging ride. I bought my boots during lunch break and on the freeway ride home from work, I found out very quickly that the new boot had a little trouble shifting from 1st to second. Not the best of times to find out but I was able to adjust fortunately.

Ariat boots are the best. I have 2 or 3 pairs of their western boots. Here is the link to the boots t was talking about: Ariat International - Boots Products

Ariat makes good stuff. I have a couple pairs that have held up really well.

I like the fact that there is no break in period! They feel like you have been wearing them for years the first time ya put em on.They look pretty cool too!!! I will have to get some highway pegs now so I can use the built in highway peg holder.
