Default Cage drivers have to be the dumbest people on earth!

Ok, I'm going to one of my friends houses after going to the movies about 45 minutes away, and all of the sudden I see light coming directly at me... Keep in mind that this is a 4 lane interstate (2 lanes per side) with a huge *** median separating the two.
I'm trying to pass a semi, so I don't have much in the way of places to go, and this guy just doesn't seem to get the idea that he's heading in the wrong direction...
to make a long story short, Asuka doesn't like medians with lots and lots of sharp stickers and soft sand... and I dont like coming off my bike too much either. **** rumble strip

You had a spill? If you did I'm sorry to hear it bro! Not all cage drivers are bad, but there are some horrible ones out there. (I'm a cage driver half the time ya know.)

Ya, I came off the bike I think cause I hit that rumble strip leaned over more than I've ever done before... lucky for me it was all soft bushes and Asuka didn't get anything more than a few scratches... and I'm glad I was wearing my gear, or the thorns woulda hurt.
And I figure most people here who still drive cages are some of the better drivers out there, since we all ride too

That sucks. Good to hear you are ok.
I work on a one way street, and at least once a week some doolally drives down it the wrong way. (lesson I have learned: always look both ways when crossing, even if it's a one way street)

This guy wound up hitting someone behind me, so he stopped... the guy he hit was in an 18 wheeler that I'm guessing decided he didn't wanna move And I'm tempted on getting MGs and putting them on my bars... maybe there's something in the water out here.

a few scratches due to the brush that was in the median but thats about it... And I've been talking to the cops about the crazy dude, turns out weed was involved, and they're getting me a copy of police report just in case I want to try a civil suit. I'll ask one of my friends 'rents who are lawyers... might do it to

It sounds like anyone close to that guy are lucky to be alive!

I remember driving the freeway back in the early 70's going from Sacramento to Vallejo California about 2 A.M. and headlights coming right at me.....same thing as you...and thought to myself...HEY...there is something wrong with this picture! I pulled into the far right lane as the guy flew by me and kept going. I never found out what happened to him or anyone else in his path. I remember how it made me feel to know I just escaped a head on impact and nearly loosing my life.

JT, Glad to hear you weren't hurt. Hopefully the police didn't mess up the report so you can go after this idiot. You should get compensated for the pain and suffering seeing the scratches on your bike.

Glad to hear everything is ok. The interstate is a scary place no matter what you are in or on. The lesson we should all take is to pay attention to everything around us and plan ahead. Ming and I are not planning on getting on the ground but we have been close. Ride safe!

I congratulate you, you held yourself togther better than I would have. Last time someone cut me off, I chased them for several several miles. Maybe I should finally seek some anger managment.

if you pulled a baseball bat out of nowhere, then maybe you should But I've seen riders leave nice bvoot indentations on car doors around here.

that's one thing i would not hesitate to do. i usually use the pipes to wake them up first, and if that doesn't work....
