According to PA law: Any motorcycle carrying a passenger, other than in a sidecar or enclosed cab, shall be equipped with footrests and handholds for the passenger.
Just found this out today. Did any of you PA riders know this? And do you know if a sissy bar counts as a handhold?

Yes a sissy bar counts because they can grip the sides of it. Just like on sport bikes like the Busa which has that metal bar behind the passenger or the hand hold on the kawasaki ZZR 600.
Did you know that stupid strap on the passanger seat is considered a hand hold. half the time it is covered up by the passenger themselves and is held on with staples, but it counts.......lol |
