I get cut off all the time. I like keeping 2-3 seconds in front of me. I don't trust my braking ability as much, so I drive as defensively as I can. Besides, the play room lets me posiiton myself outside other vehicle's blind spots.

Tail gaters irritate me too. It's almost like they expect me to ride 40+ over the speed limit because I'm on a sport bike. Sorry, doing 110 mph scares me enough in a CAR...even more so on a bike.

Sorry, 'cause I know it's not a laughing matter, but I can't help it...can you really expect to be taken seriously when you lay on the horn of a Jap (or most other) motorcycle?

As far as waving goes, I'm in the group that will wave whenever it's prudent. But, it is NOT always prudent!

An older lady recently died from injuries sustained when she ran off the road with a scooter that she had just purchased and logged only 36 miles. She had just recently gotten her license and lost control while returning a wave from a motorcyclist. The incident was witnessed by a friend who was behind her in an automobile. This happened in Cornish, NH.
