When taking a turn/curve at high speed stay away from the center of the lane if it is raised. If you catch the far side(outside edge) of the ridge in the middle of the lane your front tire WILL slide out and you will slide into the path of oncoming traffic.

id be more concerned with the oil in the middle of the lane...its more likely to make your tires slide! but yea, youre right. with it being angled away from the turn (off camber) you are effectively leaning MORE than you would be if you were on the other side of that raised area (which would be on-camber like a berm).
always be aware of your environment.
