2000 voyager electrical problem...fuses

06-19-2012, 09:27 AM
Was parking my bike on the side stand and there was a heave in the road and when I got off bike it fell over to the left side. The hard saddle bags held it from falling all the way over.I picked it up and now I have no horn,Tach.fuel gauge, water temp.I checked all the fuses under the gas tank cover and they are good. Are there fuses located elsewhere on bike that I am missing? The switch and wiring to the side stand also look good.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Marty.....Safe riding!!!!

Fuses can look good, but did you continuity check them with a mutlimeter set on ohms(removed from the fuse holder)? Does your bike have the older glass tubed fuses, or the newer "Blade Style" found in cars? I suspect the fall may have partially disconnected some electrical harness connectors, causing this problem.
