GPZ1100E exhaust question

Hi all, I know the first post from a newbie is always one looking for help or assistance, so dont want to break the tradition :)

I have a 1995 GPZ1100E which has had a 4 into 1 exhaust conversion with a Micron Can. The Micron is getting a bit tatty (been on the bike since I got it)

Looking at cans I cant see a great selection of new ones for my bike and the ones I have found are really expensive, I know the GPZ uses the same engine as other bikes (ZX10 I think and ZZR1100) Both these bikes have a greater selection. Would it work just buying one of these and fitting? I would of course check the diameter of the link pipe etc.

Any ideas would be more than welcome :)

Thanks.

I'd carefully measure the openings at the exhaust ports, and the centers of the pipes for compatable systems. The problem I see is attachment, you may have to fabricate some brackets to be able to hang a new system. But if youhave the experiance in welding, or have a local shop fab up the brackets., I see no problem.

Hello again, mine has the same Micron system fitted(headers and can)ZZR1100D was the original destination for it. there is a fella on ebay that makes slip on adapters for bolt on cans.I previously had an Art Pro 2 stubby fitted with an adapter he made, cost me less than 30.Link pipe diameter is 63mm.TTFNhttp://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee383/zing1100/mygpz181.jpg
