Hi guys & gals, I bought myself a ZZR 1100 in November 2006 and have had her up till today. I do regular maintenace on her i.e. oil change every 5000km and new oil filter. Then at 10000 km its an oil change, oil filter replacement and plugs. Up to date I've done 131500km. Change timing chain twice, main chain and sprokets 4 times, forks redone twice and a set of tyres last me 15000 km you do the math. I'm not trying to brag but I do belief in regular servicing and don't wheelie or rev the guts out of it. I'll be honest it is using a bit of oil. But man I have got good service out of her... she still clocks around 290km.
If I have to get myself another bike it would defiantly be KAWASAKI. Looking at the GTR 1400 tourer.

Only had to replace ignition coil the one that has a 30 amp fuse in it twice and of course headlight and clock lights. Dropped it twice as well unfortuantly but that was because of a number plate that had come off and a pick up was sitting at stop street. When I came to stop only saw number plate to late and was on the front brakes not a good combination. Of course the indicator had to be replace. Other than that it rides like a dream. Never sorry I bought her. Have about $203,38 left and its all mine. I wonder if Kawasaki will sponser me with a new bike???
