Anyone have an iPod shuffle that they have connected to their Vaquero? I was going to get the iPod connection cable kit but realize that will not work with the iPod Shuffle. Not sure if the other connector that uses the 1/8 cable will work?

I just bought an Ipod shuffle adapter cable that a private individual makes, I just received it in the mail today and it works fine. It was $29.00, you can contact him at [email protected], his name is Steve. My bike is the Voyager, basically the same as a Vaquero.

I have the 2012 Voyager same setup as the Vaquero. I order the cable connector online for the voyager , than bought the Nano 8GB 6th generation from Walmart $105 not many around so your are lucky if you can find one from Walmart. That nano 6th gen Ipod has 30 pin connector built in. The newer Ipods Nano/Touches you have to buy an adapter called lighting to make it work which is $30 bucks more, I just did not want to buy a newer Ipod for that reason. The 8GB will hold 2,000 songs.

Don't believe it, they must be really short songs. My 20 gb mp3 holds only about 4800 songs. With 8 gb I'd expect to get about 1700.

I bought a mini blue tooth adapter and plugged that into the stereo, then I just had my Android phone link to that. My phone has a mini memory card that will hold about 20 thousand songs, has a 12 hour battery, so I get tunes all day, really nice on the several cross country trips that I have made.

Using my LG android phone with a 64GB mini memory card, I will not run out of room to play songs all week long on a cross country trip and not hear a song ever repeated.

Kawasaki is rumored to considering adding bluetooth in their future Vaquero and Voyager models, till then, then mini bluetooth adapter I am using works just fine.

Where did you get the adapter? How did you connect it to the radio?
