Mirrors sweet spot

Howzit guys,

For the last few days I have been adjusting my mirrors to provide me the best best of things behind me, however I still feel like they are positioned correctly.

Is there any guidelines as to adjusting my mirrors to the so called sweet spot? I see a lot of my arms and then the road behind.

I understand I won't get 100%, but I feel like they could be positioned better, to provide a wider view.

My motorcycle is a ER6-F.

Thanks
Johan

I like to adjust the mirrors so that I can see JUST my elbow in the inside bottom corner of the mirror.

Over the years with many different bikes I've come to realize that there's no one way to do it. Adjust them how you like them. I think most bike mirrors are designed for seeing the next lane and not directly behind. A lot of folks I know add a stick-on fish eye mirror in a corner to help with the wider view you seem to be seeking.
