Hello hope I'm posting this in the right place. This is my first posting and I came here for help with the purchase of a used 2007 Ninja 650. Saw this bike at an auto repair shop were the owner had left it. I contacted them and they said they where interested in selling it. Well it looks like it's in relatively good shape it possibly has been down with just very minor damage to the fairings. Well the question I have is concerning seating position and the shocks. It's actually been 15 years since I've road and so much of this is new to me.

When I got on the bike it seems like I'm seating at a 30 degree angle not siting flat or horizontal is these any kind of adjustment that can be made to correct this just don't see this being comfortable for extended rides.

Haven't actually had a chance to take to the owner about this I just stopped by the repair shop to take another look. If I can get a comfortable seating position and we can come to an agreement on price you might have a new rider here on the forum! Thanks Guys for your help.

Seems to me the only way to find out is to sit on it.

That's why I asked! I was asking if anyone else has experienced this. :???:

Its a er650 right? If so I believe the seating position more of a sport touring bike.

Ok thanks any way to adjust the seat like I said I've been away from biking for a while and came here for help, getting ready to probably buy this bike think it would be a good bike for someone just starting out, it's been maybe fifteen years. Thanks
