Family "Garage find" ZX6 - Keepin it

The short story of it is that my brother in law passed away and left behind a 2000 ZX6R with 6k miles that he hardly rode.

So not exactly a garage find but.... it could have been pretty easily.

I was unofficially put in charge of his hardware including this bike which hadnt moved in about a year.

I cleaned it all up and put half a can of seafoam in it and added fresh gas and a battery.

Man - the bike pulls STRONG. I couldnt believe it, for a 600 that's 16 years old. I'm not a Kawi guy, never owned one and never really liked em but this bike is trying to make me like it.

At first I was going to sell it as the family wanted to get something out of it but it didn't have a title and the tires were literally, trash so nobody was going anywhere near it.

I listed it and didn't get a single bite. So for the foreseeable future, Im going to keep it.

I need to get the suspension set up for my weight and eventually I'd like to track it.

It's down at the local shop getting new S21's on it after which time it will go into rotation.

I have to do ~200 miles on Fridays for business so it'll get a good flog this week.

Anyways, sayin hi and checkin out the forum
