Hello all,

I have found this 2005 ZG 1000 that I really like. This bike located in Savannah and I need it shipped to San Diego.
I was told from a reliable source to use AA Motorcycle (http://www.1aamotorcycles.com/) for shipping, however, I want to check all available options out there.
If anyone here has experience with motorcycle shippers please let me know.

Thanks again :)

I have shipped motorcycles and engines (I rebuild them once in awhile) and use U-Ship. You basically sign up (free) and then get dimensions and weight of the bike to be shipped. Once you have that, you put the info into their system and you will get companies bidding for the job. Things to take into account is the timeliness of the shipment, the rep/reliability of the company, etc. You will also need to decide if you want to ship it crated (expensive) or in the back of a truck with a liftgate. Door to Door generally costs a bit more so if you know a local business with a loading dock/ramp they would let you use, that can save a buck or two. I just make sure there is a liftgate and usually choose a closed truck and have them deliver to my business address. Here is the link to U-Ship bike shipping:

Shipping with these guys has always produced the best deal for me.

Having had my previous motorcycle shipped by land and sea from the San Francisco Bay Area to Wales and then from England back to San Diego a major criterion is to make certain that the bike is well crated, preferably also with interior and exterior padding.
