I’m the new guy on the forum
Here and have fallen in love with the Z900RS especially the cafe model. I was looking for any and all feedback on this model and.... comparing it to the older ZRX1200 is one better then the other? Obviously the power plants are different but does one do something better then the other. Thanks.

Old tech vs new tech in old tech clothes
1200 = 12 more ponies & torque, cheaper to buy, lager fuel capacity
900 = better suspension, looks better, less weight, better brakes ?

You need to ride them both and you will know what is what.

Sat on the new old 900 today and it felt really good, light at the stand still, was impressed by the stock headers and finish of the bike. I would love to ride one and think it looks great though I do think its a city/ weekend kind of bike.
I don't think I would entertain the idea of owning an old T Rex which is funny cause I have a 82 Gpz 750r.

Your are comparing bikes that belong to completely different generations and times. Over 25 years in between. Carbs against injectors, ECU, and a myriad of sensors. The ZRX is also about 90 lbs heavier. What is better?......a Chevy '55 or a 2019 Impala??

………..If I money no object, I would own them both and enjoy the old and the new.
