Issue with starting 2007 Vulcan 2000 classic lt

Had the bike for a couple years now but started having issues yesterday. Was out riding and stopped at the store usually put it in neutral or shut it off before putting the kickstand down but yesterday just put the kickstand down while in gear and The safety switch killed the bike. Didnít think nothing of it because thatís supposed to happen. Well when I went to start the bike back up it was cranking slow and wouldnít start I had to roll start it. Rode around for a while to let the battery charge back up and went home and parked it for the night now it wonít start back up. Iíve charged the battery but it just cranks and wonít start. I put the kickstand up and it starts but only when getting extra juice from the battery tender being hooked up to it. Checked all fuses and all wiring and connectors seem to be fine anyone have any idea what the issue could be?

Sounds like it's time for a battery replacement to me.

Words aren't children and there's nothing wrong with killing them to clarify a point or keep the peace.

"New" doesn't necessarily mean it's any good. What's the open circuit and loaded voltage of the battery?
