KH100 Stator & Flywheel

Hello from Australia!

Just picked up a 1980 KH100 (KH100A/KH100EL) and it needs a stator and flywheel, but I'm having trouble finding the correct parts.

Does anyone know if this bike identical to the KE100 and the parts are interchangeable?

Would it be better to upgrade my ignition to something like this instead?

The flywheel and stator assy is shared with almost every 80-125cc rotary valve single from 1969 to 1981. Too many model designations to list. As long as you are searching by p/n the model of bike will not matter.

If you do a search on this forum, there is another fellow who did the 12v conversion.

For a cross-reference try Partzilla -->> oem parts -->> Kawasaki. registration is easy, but you don't have to register. Once into the diagrams for a particular model, click a part for the x-ref. The diagrams are not 100% accurate, so I double-check as best as I can, and if possible, check the info at Kawasaki.com. The Kaw site doesn't list all models & the info on some is incomplete.

Thanks for the link!

From my research it looks like the KH100 in Australia is basically the "G7" everywhere else. Even the frame/engine number on my bike starts with G7-5xxxxx.

I would have to disagree, whilst it is true 99% of the stators work for 80-125cc rotary valve single from 1969 to 1981 - however the crank length and taper connecting to the flywheel can be very different on these models. E.g. the KE125 and KH125 are different on both counts.
