1982 Kawasaki 750 GPZ

There is a local guy that is selling a 1982 Kawasaki 750 GPZ. He has it listed at $3100. The bike is in rough shape . The screen is cracked, paint chipped, tank has a dent, and the brake light works but is broken, and some of the lights on the dash don't work. I just wanted to know if this was a reasonable price because it seems really high.

$3100 for a 750 in poor condition is way too high.
If it was in good running condition, that still might be too high.
Restoring & refurbishing an old bike is kind of a pain & can get expensive real quick.

meaning; you will be north of $3k in no time to fix the bike up. In the end you will be forking out a lot of money believe me I know.

Okay, thanks. The asking price is already above that, so I was confused. For that kind of money, it would have to be in great condition or a 1000/1100 good condition. And yes, it does add up fast >> I know all about that. especially if you acquire extra parts for just in case. I've got a pile of NOS stuff for my KZ650 plus a bunch of good used parts & junk parts. doh.
