Hello I am trying to figure out if I can use standard fork oil in my 1971 A1 and if so at what weight. The manual states use 1 part 60 weight spindle oil to 4 parts 30 weight motor oil . Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I just wanted to mention my intention to make a post requesting for help with an audio recording of a Kawasaki W800.
I work in games, and am looking to record one on a dyno for a game we are working on. I am not selling anything, and am ideally looking for someone who is either interested to get their bike on a dyno, or interested in games, or both, and I would work with the owner to make sure they are happy to go ahead etc.
Anyway, I hope this is ok with you - I thought it best to mention directly. Of course if there are any issues or problems, then please let me know. I assume you will remove the post in any case if it breaks any rules, but fingers crossed it doesnt. I do find forums are a great way to get in touch with owners as there is usually a great community spirit, and from a quick look at your forum, this one looks no exception.
Is there a particular place to ask a stupid open question? I am a fairly new rider. Rode in my youth, but 20 years later wanting to ride again.
I want to ask opinions on availabily of replacement parts and difficulty of servicing ealry 1980-1986 Voyagers. Looking to get an old one because the cost, but not certain it makes sempnse.
Curious how long one might exoect one to last os it years miles or what mix of both?
I am a novice.
