After moderately trying to pry the brake drum with no success, i'm not sure how it comes off. I'm trying to find whether my brake is keeping the front rt. wheel from turning freely. It is difficult to turn the front wheel by hand when the front end is in the air. By the sound it makes when you turn it, i'm guessing it's the brake and not the bearings. Thanks for any reply.

On the back side of the brake drum there is a lever with a cable and adjuster nut. Back that nut off so the lever is loose and not holding the brake shoes against the drum. Then remove the dust cover, cotter pin, nut, wheel bearing retainer, and outside wheel bearing and the hub will pop right off.
