Hi Everybody,

Great Board  !!!

I`m looking for some input on pricing a 04 Vulcan 1500 classic. It`s completely basic with spoke wheels.....no frills.

I went in to my local dealer today and the best price quote I could get was $8,499 . Just looking around in cycle trader this seems to be the normal advertised price in my state (Texas). I`m looking to beat that.... 8) The bike list for 8,999.

My question is how much do ya`ll think I should be able to get them down?

By the way the $8,499 was not drive out cost. They even added about $70 for prep charges.

Thanks Chris

Thanks for the help Guy`s
!

I found one through Cycle Trader for $8,509......Out the door. Me and one of my buddies drove down to Dallas this morning and picked it up. I had some reservations about hauling it back in my truck, but all went fine. (Them rachet tie downs really work!!!)

Oh Man! I have`nt had this much fun in years
!!! I cruised around the block a few hundred times, then spent the rest of the evening on back roads, until it got dark, and I was exhausted. I then lied down in the yard beside it and just gawked at her. Got up a few minutes later and rode it one more time....He he. Eighteen years was just to long to be away from something this fun. I restricted most of my riding to back roads, attempting to regain some experience. It`s gonna take a little longer than what I thought though. The bike rides smooth and steady. I could`nt be more pleased. On the other hand I am very rusty, gonna need a lot of practice. Goodness.....I sure hate that.....Ha ha. I can`t wait to get back on her tomorrow.
