Hello, 06 Ninja was put in first WITHOUT the clutch. Stalled nd now will not even turn over. Battery a& oil are fine, but oil light is on and bike will not even turn over. What broke? Why will the bike not even tur over now? Yes it is in N.

If the battery checks out, and if after doing the above doesn't work, remove the spark plugs, and try and turn the motor over by putting it back in first and turning the rear wheel (while the bike is on the centerstand). If it doesn't move, you may have jumped the timing and slammed a valve intot he piston. :)

Rock the bike back and forth to verify neutral. Sometimes the light doesn't match the condition. Sit on the bike. Put the side stand up and down a few times quickly, with a snap. Leave it up. Cycle the clutch lever a few times, quickly. End with it pulled in. Is the kill switch in the run position?

Try starting.

If you can get it into neutral, and the engine starts, but stalls when the gear is engaged, the tranny needs work. If you engage the transmission, and it spins in neutral, but engaged does not spin, then the problem is in the engine. ;)

it was the starter that was "stuck" had to push forward in N while starting to get it going. The bike only goes into 1t & N while its off, does not go into the other gears, alway been like that

How do I jump the starter solinoid? Also it was the starter that was "stuck" had to push forward in N while starting to get it going
Follow the heavy wire that goes directly from the positive battery terminal to your starter solenoid terminal. The solenoid will have another heavy wire that goes from the other terminal to the starter motor. You need to bridge these two terminals. Wear safety glasses and gloves and beware of large sparks. Some people bridge with a screwdriver or wrench and others will use a piece of heavy copper wire.

The moment the bridge is made, your starter should spin but this assumes the following:

1) The starter motor is not broken.
2) All wires and grounds are good.
3) The engine is not seized.

If in doubt about how to jump the solenoid, google it and watch some videos. Let us know the results.
