just bought a 1978 kd100

i took it all apart carb, petcock and tank cleaning ect... and got it running good! now i want to know how to check the oil level in crank case? sounds dumb
but the oil-filler cap looks to be replaced and not the original, so does it have a oil stick or just a cap? i know it requires 600ccs but can i see if there is any in it or how much?
going to get new oil now (never know what p.o did or not did to it)

oh yeah,, my manual is on the way just wanted to get a start on it!!!!!!!

There's no dipstick on your model. Just a filler cap. I can't see the outside of the R.H engine cover in my diagram, but there might be an oil level screw there. If so, just remove it and fill oil until it comes out of the hole.
