used eye bolts to for anchors, bolted into the bottom of the cooler and one on lower back side.

use wire nuts to cover bolts on the inside to protect contents.

covered with leather from old desk chair... attached to lugage rack via cable ties... still trying to figure a way to cover the top that look good... so at the moment im leaving as is...

I did the same with mine 2 years ago, still going strong, and I get lots of compliments on it. However, mine isn't a cooler, but just a black cudora tote bag. To make it more rigid, I just glued some pieces of 1/8th thick masonite to the inside walls and floor. Total cost = $8.95 ;)

Little el-cheapo bags and lunch boxes really fit the bill on motorcycles at times. The "seat bag" I have has a loop on the frt that I put a clip in. I clip that to the passenger strap and put the carry strap under the seat. I've ridden with it a bunch and it's very secure. Mine even has reflective stripes!

i used to use it on the seat also... i used cable ties and connected to my bungie hooks, then i bought some black small dog collars and attached them to the bungie hooks instead of the cable... i just covered it last night with the leather.....

You don't have to spend 300. My wife found a leather bag for the back of her 1500 for 30 bucks on ebay. Studded to match the Leatherlyke bags, easy to take on and off with a couple buckle attachments, and a zippered liner to keep things water resistant.

A while back I saw where someone took one of those 3 gallon water/gatorade circular coolers, painted it black, glued a foam piece on to act as a backrest, and used some eyebolts to provide mounting points. They laid it on it's side and strapped it onto the passenger pillion (with a sissybar) to use as storage. You unscrewed the lid to get into it. Very cool idea.

T Conroy...I have a similar one for touring but for daily use I have a Grand Tour by Kuryikan. Until my wife gave me that I was looking at a cooler like fast 20 used. Strong enough for a little back support and insulated enough to hold a few bottles of....water....and some ice.
We are an inventive group aren't we?

That is a short driveway! ;)

Ummm, my driveway is about 100 feet long and 30 feet wide. The garage you see in the picture is at the back of my property, cause I don't use it for my cars, but rather just for my toys. ;)
I figured as much. It just really caught my eye w/the grass in front of the door and a short slab. It does give that impression, though...
