Can anyone point me to some explanation of what a "california custom" vulcan 1500 is? I have googled it but can't find any details. Is this a specific trim package for a classic series?
I'm working on a friend's 99 Vulcan 1500 and I can't get it to go above 75 bike runs good until I get in to 4th then it is b gutless I've never worked on a vtwin before. Any advice would help. I Cleaned the carb, changed the plugs. And changed the clutch fluid . my only guess now is maybe the floats need adjusted. This Sticky is for specific questions, concerns and feedback pertaining to the the Vulcan 1500, 1600 and 2000 Models.
