pyrochickk,

You didn't mention if your 97 Vulcan is a VN1500A-C model, which is the 88, or a Vulcan Classic. If it's the VN1500A-C 88 model, then there are no heel/toe shifter option for it.
I was looking for the same for my 99 model 88 and this what I found out after my research. Now if you happen to have a 1500D, then you should be able to find the parts in a cycle junkyard or maybe on ebay.

Good Roads,
Jim

If you could post a fresh story including history, mileage, work done in the Cruiser section and not under 1500/1600/2000 heading, I might be able to help.

2005 Vulcan 1500 Classic Fi problems

Ok so I burned out my starter relay (it got water inside somehow) but the replacement keeps blowing its fuse. Oh and the bike is not getting spark. I know enough to get into trouble so I am searching for answers before just diving in. Any help would be great. Thank you all in advance.

Hey all, I am looking to pick up a 2006 kawasaki Vulcan Classic LT (VN2000F). I am trying to find what the range is and fuel economy for highway riding on average. I am also interested in hearing what kind of glass (octane level) do you use?

Thanks!

Can anyone point me to some explanation of what a "california custom" vulcan 1500 is? I have googled it but can't find any details. Is this a specific trim package for a classic series?

I think that's someones idea of their own work..............I don't believe Ma Kaw ever made a specific model called a "California Special".

Putting 12" ape hangers w/ 2" risers or should I do 14"w/2" risers? Which risers will work with my triple tree,as in fit the holes and whatever else it would take: bolts and such? Can I use HD, or another off a honda VTX or something? Looking for risers with the solid clamp on top.

In search of some advice, I have a 90 vulcan 1500. What I'm wondering is how or what can I do to reduce the chance of burning my left leg on the exhaust pipe that is vertical on that side. I have heat wrap and a shield but still is burning leg. Wondering I'd a smaller pipe would work

I'm working on a friend's 99 Vulcan 1500 and I can't get it to go above 75 bike runs good until I get in to 4th then it is b gutless I've never worked on a vtwin before. Any advice would help. I Cleaned the carb, changed the plugs. And changed the clutch fluid . my only guess now is maybe the floats need adjusted.
