I recently purchased a really cherry G4TR, 2030 miles, near perfect factory paint, original seat and all. It had sat for quite some time with a half tank of fuel, but it all cleaned up nicely. A new petcock and a touch-up on the carb and it fired first kick.
It does have some minor problems: lights don't work, it had been dropped or hit on the left handlebar...it was slightly bent (an easy fix) and the replacement clutch handle isn't correct.
But the biggest problem I have is that the clutch is stuck and won't disengage. And when I say stuck, it's tight. Any thoughts, comments or ideas on how to get it loose?

It is the clutch. The cable and the "actuator", the part that pushes the clutch in, works fine. I can actually manually depress the clutch with the cover off, but it appears that the plates are stuck.
