I finally got the KZ400 out on the road but noticed a good amount of oil coming from the head, somewhere. Tracked it down to the only 4 **** orings on the entire engine that I apparently didn't replace, #3 on the diagram. I'm wondering, since it's all put together now, what the odds are of me being able to loosen the lock nut #1, pull out the rocker shaft, #4 and replace the oring? I also thought I could pull them out enough to just get the old oring off and put the new ones on and slide it back in.Thanks in advance.

Ok, update to the o-ring situation. You can carefully pull out the rocker arm screw and change the o-ring without taking it entirely apart. Only one of the 4 came in but this is the condition of the original o-ring. It was super hard and broke in half when I pulled it out. If you're rebuilding one of these, definitely do not forget to replace those o-rings.
