Previously running however after sitting idle for 6 months now won’t start and backfires very loudly.
Any help/idea appreciated.

Try putting a bottle of Gumout with PEA in the gas and running it for a few minutes every day to see if it clears up. If not, you will probably have to remove the carbs and clean them.

Thanks for the reply, I put carb cleaner in the gas tank to carb line without success. Have you ever used Sea foam?

You may have gotten a bad load of gas. Try putting in some new, fresh gas and try again. If that does not work you may have to take the carbs apart to clean them. Also it would not hurt to put seafoam in the fresh gas. I would not start adding seafoam to gas that already has various cleaners added.

Thanks for your reply, I did put fresh gas in it without success. I can’t get it to start for more than 3 seconds. I guess I will check the new plugs and wires for defects. If no luck I guess I will have to pull and clean carbs
